Chalet Retreat

On Monday 17 2005,

Heh..i am on leave (ORD lorz!!~) ..So fun..No camp no work just a good long sleep till about 11am. Then have a good game on SRWA3 then went travelling around Singapore (today's journey is --- Farrer Park --- Yishun --- Sengkang --- Pasir Ris before i make my way to Pasir Ris for the P5 & P6 chalet retreat.

Met Aunt Cindy on the way there. So went with her and another aunt to do some groceries for BBQ later..only to realise that we forgot to buy a lighter! (actually reminded them about it but they said they have it in the chalet)..oh well we got to borrow one instead.. Heh thank GOD for the weather it was good and i managed to start the fire within 5mins..hehe Cornelius & Luke are real playful keep burning leaves there till my pit has unwanted smoke gas...Awww~~ took me a while to chase them away and so we had our very own BBQ..my first in 4mths!! We had fried rice, fried shrimps,chicken wings,hotdogs..hmm i seem to forget a few more items..haha It was also the very first time that i EVER end a BBQ w/o any food left..it was amazing that the kids,estee,cara,clara,aunt cindy,another parent & me finished the 2 trays of chicken wings! i hardly can imagine that..

Ok after that while Clara went with the rest to play Captain's ball (meawhile i was made fun with 2 items.. GOD bless & someone..whaha~!), aunty cindy, me, estee and cara talked about how the kids are doing, aunty cindy's vision for children ministry..i was very encouraged by her words.. I began to see some important that bonds me and the kids.. lalala~~ ok later cara had a game with the kids and asked them to write something nice for 2 individuals. Guess what!? I had 1 note on me saying that i was SPORTING & a good sense of HUMOR..haha so touched, making me started to feel a bit more like home and more becoming in my father's step.

While the rest had to go home, me along with 7 other kids and yee ning's mom stayed back. I am to book tml morning 7am. (i wished it can be later, becos i know i'll be going to camp just to sleep..whaha~~) We had 2 card games. One is the common Big 2 where i taught them how to play, the other is called stress~~...argh..playing that game is real stress..i always lose to the girls straight by cards then by combine cards STRESS~~ so basically i lost with all cards on my hand..haha 1st time ever lose so flat..however it was fun..we ended all sessions at 2am. and there i have my little nap before i left the chalet with everyone ZZZzz~~ soundly.. (should have snap a photo..)

As i walked to the bus stop, 1.2 km away, the moon was so beautiful. It was a full moon last nite. So round, so beautiful. how i wish i can touch it or be on it..haha wishful dreaming.. but i thank GOD for a wonderful and fruitful fellowship there at the chalet.. I, for the first time actually talked to the P6s over the chalet and get to know some better.. NExt thing to look forward is the Spiritual Milk Retreat this wednesday..haha so exciting~~~
