Spiritual Milk Retreat Part 2

As i received a phone call last nite that i was in the formation x-country team representing my mess...so no choice but to wake up early in the morning to go for a run..the weather again was very cooling and relaxing..so little vehicles on the car and the air was fresh..Ran about 5-6km before heading back to church..As i arrived at level 4, i realised that the P6s mostly were awaked!wow give them time to ZZzz~ don't know how to appreciate..So as i thought i don't wanna disturb samson's family with the noise so i bring all the guys downstairs to have a game of soccer..hehe it was fun..demo to them how to score goals (5goals to be precise) and some ball controlling and teamwork footwork..well the scoreline was not important..6-1..but important is all the guys have fun and play together..as for the girls well..they're also quite automatic..came down to play some 'monkey' game..after a while, i decided that we should gel the whole group so i played a mass captain's ball with them..this time was a catcher for the weaker team (which this case the boys) again charris complaint it was just not fair..then i taught them that there's a tech how to catch the ball even with just one hand..the one special word is 'timing' and co-ordinating eye contact with the thrower..hehe after that, we went upstairs for breakfast..

Well they had milo and toasted bread..whereas i just have a cup of milo..becos later going mac with Zhirong & Siew Ho..hehe...We then have another team bonding game..Polar Bear!! (polar bear jia you!!) But i realised that 2 things that made this game not as fun as it supposed to..why!? simple becos there were people cheating; opening their eyes when they were supposed to close. then 'dead' people telling the living ones who the hunters or polar bears were..such a big group of more than 3o+ P6s..how i 1 person control the whole game? i even got to use a broom to tap the roles of hunter and polar bear..argh~~ by 9am they were having their lessons.. so Zhirong, Siew Ho and I went to mac to have our breakfast..It was surely a real hearty breakfast as we sat there till about 10.30 before heading back to church to help the refreshment for the P6s..n guess who we see when we're back..it was no other than our camp chairperson, Amelia..she came down to have a look at the retreat..well she was quiet and later in a bink of eye disappear.. (hehe sorry boss, if you got read this => ) Ok after that the 3 of us again went out to buy back packet lunch for them..we made a stop-over at Giant to buy our secret formula drink..a morale booaster..

After lunch, went upstairs to see what they're doing and happen to stop by the girls' dorm and played cards with them..Again they wanted to thrash me..but they ended up heart-attacked by me..haha so funny yet a bit of violent..i don't know whose finger nail scratch me many times..Yeah after that game, gather everyone downstairs and we're again off to the beach..This time we played poison ball and captain's ball..wanted to play freebie.. but don't have one..so no other option..again after that we break off into different groups; some went cycling, some went to the beach to play volleyball or walk, some just stayed back to play soccer..As for cycling, we stopped at Bedok Jetty to enjoy the beautiful breeze..so refreshing!! thank GOD for the weather it was real cooling and nice.. I am happy to see mostly enjoyed themselves at the beach.. shall keep my comments short..

So eventually all things got to end.. and yes we headed back to church at around 5.30pm and let the P6s do some wash-up before ensuring that their parents come to pick them up. Again i realised how fortunate are they.. most of them have parents who pick them up by car.. makes me feel so 'low'..haha when will i ever overcome my fear and learn driving.. i love to travel yet... haiz...oh well..so waited for the last P6, janice's dad to come to pick her before heading home to shower and packed my stuffs and again return back to camp for the following day; Formation X-country Meet.. Need to ZZzz~~ early.. what another tiring day but fast moving pace.. i didn't realise that the whole retreat ended just like that... It was FAST!!
