Yuki Yaki Buffet~~

Ok actually I didn't wanted to put this down.. but I think it's worth a note or so.. So I am gonna write this down here.. (Into my memories so that I won't forget my first time experience there)

Well well.. Let you guys know an interesting fact about me.. For me who know me.. Well I'm someone who loves Japanese buffet.. eating such stuffs means practically nothing to me.. But the 1 buffet that I seldom eat or say never eat before is Yuki Yaki.. I felt like a toodz.. when I went there with Jasmine & her friend, Siew Jo (hope I spell correctly) I didn't know that over there.. The price was nett.. And there was a combination buffet with Ice cream as well.. Very interesting..

As usual.. I whacked the buffet table like there's no tomorrow.. They got a good mixture of terripanyaki, sushi, mushrooms!! and many more.. Here's the most interesting parts of the buffet session.. I didn't know that there's a time limit for this buffet.. like 2 hrs for table w/o ice cream and 2.5 hrs for table with ice cream.. It was like woah~~ where got dinner buffet with a time limit slap on it?? If that is interesting enough, how about the ice cream buffet.. They came in favors and all served in a liquid form.. then the interesting thingy is that the plate that we cooked our stuffs on.. is the very plate that we're going to make our very own DIY ice cream.. it was like what duh.. haha~~

We sure did have fun trying to experiment how to master the technique of getting a good ice cream.. We're like playing playing with the favors.. Then with a bit of sheer determination.. I finally master the art of swooping up the ice cream with ease.. But it was sure fun.. Imagine the blur, curiousity, comical, hilarous and roaming eyes out to see how to do it.. So it was sure sure fun and interesting.. And what more.. There is no one there to disturb us except ourselves.. Haha~~

Ok another 2 more days before I am off for a mission trip.. I am again getting excited.. Do continue to join me in prayer as we pray for the trip especially when Aaron's mom is undergoing an operation today.. And he does not know whether he can go for this trip.. For me.. It's a time where I need to face tommorrow again.. With paths ahead uncertain.. Joanna in trouble times with her shop's finances.. And the rest of the team.. We're all being challenged against our faith in one way or another.. We got to learn how to put our trust in God.. Remember 1 thing that faith is believe the impossible to happen, but when it doesn't.. then you're in Big trouble..

Shalom to all of you.. I think I will only be able to write more about it when I am done with the CAC (30 - 1 Jun).. Awaiting for the mission trip report which I will be writing and photographing.. Haha~~ Cool my favorite role again.. To God be the glory!!

Agape, folks~

Reflections~

If someone came into your life,
And became part of it,
But for some reason s/he couldn't stay,
Don't cry too much about it.
Just be glad that your path crossed,
And somehow s/he made you happy for a while.

What make us special~~

A T-shirt with holes in it, jeans, and no shoes. This was literally his wardrobe for his entire four years of college. He is brilliant. Kind of esoteric and very, very bright. He became a Christian while attending college.

Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed, very conservative church. They want to develop a ministry to the students but are not sure how to go about it.

One day Bill decides to go there. He walks in with no shoes, jeans, his T-shirt, and wild hair. The service has already started and so Bill starts down the aisle looking for a seat. The church is completely packed and he can't find a seat. By now, people are really looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one says anything. Bill gets closer and closer and closer to the pulpit, and when he realizes there are no seats, he just squats down right on the carpet

By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in the air is thick. About this time, the minister realizes that from way at the back of the church, a deacon is slowly making his way toward Bill.

Now the deacon is in his eighties, has silver-gray hair, and a three-piece suit. A godly man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walks with a cane and, as he starts walking toward this boy, everyone is saying to themselves that you can't blame him for what he's going to do. How can you expect a man of his age and of his background to understand some college kid on the floor?

It takes a long time for the man to reach the boy. The church is utterly silent except for the clicking of the man's cane. All eyes are focused on him. You can't even hear anyone breathing. The minister can't even preach the sermon until the deacon does what he has to do. And now they see this elderly man drop his cane on the floor. With great difficulty, he lowers himself and sits down next to Bill and worships with him so he won't be alone.

Everyone chokes up with emotion. When the minister gains control, he says, "What I'm about to preach, you will never remember. What you have just seen, you will never forget."

"Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some people will ever read".

What makes us special is ... the signature of God on our lives.

Cardiff '06 Memories~~

Wow..wow..wow..Memories of Istanbul 05 is back!! No one can expect Liverpool to re-work another wonderful final of Istanbul 05 again..

After going 2-0 down in the first 28 mins and Crouch had a goal ruled offside..Cisse pulled one back with a stunning first time volley to bring the score to 1-2 at half time..

Then when Gerrard scored a beautiful goal within the box.. Everyone though Liverpool will win.. But then again.. West Ham pulled another fluke goal.. And with the seconds ticking in the dying minutes of the match.. Mr Captain Marvel, Steve again out of no where.. produced another superb stunning 35 yards strike bullet into the net.. to bring the game into extra-time..

My heart was like pounding like crazy..maybe you can say it's a passion..but it was a roller-coaster ride throughout the game.. I was so happy when Reina, the guy who was reliable actually conceded 3 simple goals.. turned into our hero, when he saved 3 spot kicks!! No wonder why he had a reputation in Spain.. I was like wow.. wow.. superb game that will again go into the history book as one of the most entertaining and great comebacks..

I know I never regret watching it from the start.. It was a memorable night for them as well as me.. Heart attack lorz.. haha =)

FA Cup, the 125th Final.. And Liverpool's 7th cup title.. since 2001.. way to go!!

A Getaway Trip~

Well well..Look at what we have today..it's another public holiday and the last holiday before National Day which is like 3 months time..So better to enjoy this than none..

Well, nothing much to comment in the morning but.. in the afternoon.. went out with Yee Ning, Teacher, as well as her friend, Adeline.. to supposing Escape.. Had lunch at BK.. then walked towards Escape.. but the cloud and the weather was bad.. so we turned around and head for the acrade where.. I played my ROTK and was forced to leave becos I spent too long on it.. Only 1 credit and I received complaint from the rest.. so like that.. we left and still it was raining.. so camped at Macs then walked towards Escape then..

We went inside.. Started playing the so called "Twister" then followed by Pepsi.. then the wet wet wild (whatever they called it) then vinking then.. Go-kart.. then Rainbow.. Superman.. then Haunted house.. Overall.. it was quite fun.. only a few things that spoils the mood.. I guess.. I shall keep it as a memory.. And wont reveal any..

But what I like to share.. is memories of the past.. My fond memories.. as I walked from Pasir Ris to Tampines.. Going through all the good times, the bad times, the hard times.. I was with another person.. Walking along the park, the road, her block.. the path we used to take from the interchange.. It sure does brings back memories.. And I know I can't do anything but to move on.. Sure sure.. It does leave a hole in my heart.. Tampines will always be a place where I loved.. And hated to be in.. Too many things happened with 2 different ppl there.. And this incidentally covers the whole of Tampines.. If it's a must.. I should leave that as only a memory..

Thank God for everything.. Making lives crossed each other.. And I am enjoying the goodness of His love..

Keep praying for me.. As I'm going to prepare for a mission trip back to Setapak (26-28 May) as well as CAC (30 may - 1 June) and also CLCN camp (5-8 june).. So much things going to happen yet so little time.. Let's put our trust, our hope, our future surrending to Him.. the One and Only One who can provide our every needs.. Let Him come to our rescue.. where else can we go.. No other name but the name of Jesus which I am saved.. Captured me with grace.. And for that.. I will follow after Him.. Nothing in this world can compare than to run after Him..

Praise the name of Jesus.. He's our perfect redemer, the Bright morning star...

Another Sunday~

Ok for the fun and laugther, peace and joy.. I decided to add an entry today.. Firstly, I think I started the day quite bad.. had stomachache in the morning.. but thank God that it was over during service time..

Then our dearest speaker, Pastor Kindah Greening.. I must admit that he is a guy full of humor.. And I enjoyed his sermon.. He spoke about Generousity - It is more than an act itself.

It is a way of: 1. Thinking 2. Seeing 3. Living
Generousity builds the house of the Lord.. Read about Isaiah 32:8 -- about a generous man, He SHALL stands.. and also Proverbs 22: 9 -- "He who has a generous eye will be blessed.."

The eye here refers to You and Me trying to look for opportunity..

Another 2 verses to support are taken from 2 Cor 3:17-18 & chapter 9, and Proverbs 11:24-25 -- A generous soul talks about a generousity on the inside..

Your soul refers to: 1. Your thinking 2. Your emotions 3. Your will 4. Your choices

If you are generous @ the core, there is; 1. a stance 2. a lifestyle 3. a way of living

To support the above, here's another verse from Psalm 51:12 -- "uphold me with your generous spirit.."

So think about it.. and show a little bit of generousity.. an act of kindness.. You'll find your perception and aspect of life changes for the better..

Blessed are those who gives with a cheerful heart.. For God loves a cheerful giver =)

A new Begining~~

Woah..heh I apologise for no writing anything much these few days, simply because I'm trying to study.. Ya ya.. I am studying.. And it is quite an important paper with regards to my university entry.. The SAT reasoning test.. what duh.. haha

Ok I say it is really really not easy to study for it.. Why!? 2 simple reasons. 1 - New format & 2 - It's been 4 years since I last touched a test paper!!

So I tell you.. It's a real nervous time for me when I entered into the examination hall.. I was quite distracted and lack concentration.. Maybe it is my 1st time since 2002 when I sit for a test.. So the feeling was rather uneasy.. I had to keep praying for confident, wisdom, and more importantly concentration.. To be honest, the passages are way too long for me, I struggled for the 1st portion trying to do it.. Bearing in mind that every wrong is 1/4 mark deducted..

But then again.. I know something good is going to happen.. Something good is installed.. Let me tell you the 1 thing that I learn today..

It applies to everything.. From studies to relationships to worries to family.. it covers all.. So enjoy =)

Trust-in His timing
Rely-on His promises
Wait-for-His answers
Believe-in His miracles
Rejoice-in His goodness
Relax-in His presence

"Come near to God and He will come near to you." - James 4:8

Today is someone's birthday.. But I can't do a thing.. Pray for the better.. Yeah!

An hour more to our dearest Singapore's election results.. Who will win!? We'll soon know too..
